Lauren Chapin, best known for playing Kathy \u201cKitten\u201d Anderson on the classic TV show Father Knows Best<\/span><\/span>, has passed away at the age of 80.<\/p>\n

Chapin starred as the youngest Anderson child throughout the show’s six-season run and later returned for a reunion special in 1977. After her success on the beloved sitcom, she appeared in several television shows and films before stepping away from Hollywood for many years.<\/p>\n

In addition to acting, Chapin managed artists, including her daughter, singer Summer Healy-Chapin, remained active in her church, and authored two books. She also dedicated much of her life to helping children, raising more than $2 million for underprivileged and abused youth.<\/p>\n
