Prince William is reportedly planning major reforms to royal property management when he becomes king, aiming to cut costs and modernize the monarchy.<\/p>\n

A UK National Audit Office report highlighted Prince Andrew\u2019s extensive property arrangements, including leases on 10 royal homes and subletting three, potentially earning him up to \u00a3180,000 a year. He secured a long-term deal on Royal Lodge after paying \u00a31 million upfront and funding major renovations, later paying only minimal rent.<\/p>\n

The report also noted discounted royal housing for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, with King Charles covering part of their rental costs.<\/p>\n

According to reports, William wants to stop non-working royals from living in palace properties rent-free and ban subletting of royal homes, aiming for a more transparent and cost-efficient system.<\/p>\n
