The search for Savannah Guthrie\u2019s 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, who went missing from her Arizona home on January 31, has taken a troubling turn. Police say evidence found inside her Tucson-area home has raised serious concerns for her safety.<\/p>\n

Authorities believe Nancy may have been forcibly taken in a possible kidnapping or abduction. She has limited mobility, did not leave voluntarily, and does not suffer from dementia, according to Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos. Investigators have also reported finding blood and signs of forced entry inside her home, though it\u2019s unclear whose blood it was.<\/p>\n

Nancy was last seen at her Catalina Foothills residence after returning from dinner. With no solid leads, police are urging anyone with information to come forward. Sheriff Nanos made a direct appeal to anyone holding her to release her, saying the family only wants her home safely.<\/p>\n

Savannah Guthrie, who calls her mother her \u201cbest friend,\u201d has stepped away from the Today<\/em> show and shared a message on Instagram asking for prayers and support, ending with a plea: \u201cBring her home.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
