He also appeared in shows like\u00a0<em data-start=\"660\" data-end=\"680\">Leave It to Beaver<\/em>,\u00a0<em data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"703\">The Donna Reed Show<\/em>, and\u00a0<em data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"746\">The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"749\" data-end=\"898\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">After leaving acting, Rush served in the U.S. Marines.
