Daveigh Chase, the actress known for The Ring<\/em> and as the voice of Lilo in Lilo & Stitch<\/em>, has reportedly died at the age of 35.<\/p>\n

TMZ reported that Chase died June 16 from meningitis and a blood infection, citing her boyfriend Roy Hernandez. He said she had recently been hospitalized due to malnutrition and later shared a GoFundMe describing her critical condition and difficult personal struggles.<\/p>\n

Chase started acting as a child, appearing in Donnie Darko<\/em>, voicing Chihiro in Spirited Away<\/em>, and winning an MTV Movie Award for playing Samara in The Ring<\/em>. She also starred in Big Love<\/em> and appeared in hit series including ER<\/em>, CSI<\/em>, and Touched by an Angel<\/em>.<\/p>\n
