Nathalie Baye, the acclaimed French actress who appeared in Downton Abbey: A New Era<\/em> and Catch Me If You Can<\/em>, has reportedly been diagnosed with Lewy body dementia.<\/p>\n

The condition, the second most common form of dementia after Alzheimer’s disease, affects memory, thinking, movement, and behavior, often causing hallucinations, muscle stiffness, and tremors.<\/p>\n

Throughout her decades-long career, Baye earned four C\u00e9sar Awards and became one of France’s most respected actresses, known for films such as Day for Night<\/em>, The Man Who Loved Women<\/em>, and La Balance<\/em>. She also shares a daughter, actress Laura Smet, with late French singer Johnny Hallyday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
