Once a painfully shy child who hid behind her mother, Yvonne Lime Fedderson went on to become a Hollywood actress, appearing alongside stars like Elvis Presley. She passed away peacefully at her home in Paradise Valley, Arizona, on January 23, 2026, at the age of 90.<\/p>\n

Born in Glendale, California, Yvonne was enrolled in drama school to overcome her shyness and was working professionally by age 10. She made her film debut in The Rainmaker<\/em> (1956), earning instant praise, and gained fame the following year in I Was a Teenage Werewolf<\/em>, which became a surprise box-office hit. She also appeared in Elvis Presley\u2019s Loving You<\/em> and starred in Dragstrip Riot<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Though her acting career was brief, Yvonne left a lasting impact both on and off screen. In 1959, she co-founded the nonprofit Childhelp, dedicating her life to protecting abused and at-risk children. Her humanitarian work led to five consecutive Nobel Peace Prize nominations.<\/p>\n
