Veteran British actor John Nolan, uncle of filmmakers Christopher and Jonathan Nolan, has died at the age of 87.<\/p>\n
Known for his long career in film, TV, and theatre, he appeared in several of his nephews\u2019 projects, including\u00a0Batman Begins<\/em>\u00a0(2005),\u00a0The Dark Knight Rises<\/em>\u00a0(2012),\u00a0Following<\/em>\u00a0(1998), and\u00a0Dunkirk<\/em>\u00a0(2017). He also played John Greer in the TV series\u00a0Person of Interest<\/em>, which brought him a new generation of fans.<\/p>\n Born in London in 1938, Nolan trained at Drama Centre London and performed with major theatre companies including the Royal Shakespeare Company.
