Frank Cozzolino, a longtime electrician featured on HGTV Canada’s Holmes on Homes, has died at 56 after complications from a second liver transplant.
Cozzolino appeared on the show from 2003 to 2008 alongside Mike Holmes, helping expose poor construction practices and improve home safety standards. He had battled serious health issues for years and previously shared that a 2017 liver transplant gave him a “second chance at life.”
Sadly, his first transplant later failed, leading to another procedure earlier this year. Mike Holmes paid tribute to his longtime friend, saying Cozzolino endured immense hardship and made a lasting impact through his work helping homeowners.
The two had worked together for more than 25 years since the early days of the HGTV Canada series.
Cozzolino is survived by his partner, Lisa, and daughters, Filomena and Alexandria.
