Barry Manilow, 82, shared a health update after revealing he was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer. The “Copacabana” singer posted a selfie from his hospital bed on Instagram, writing, “Better Today!”
Doctors discovered a cancerous spot on his left lung after an MRI following weeks of bronchitis. Manilow said the cancer was caught very early and had not spread, meaning he only needed surgery — no chemotherapy or radiation.
The singer has paused touring while recovering but said he still feels strong, healthy, and grateful the cancer was found in time.!!
