You see a paper with nine large dots arranged in a 3×3 grid and the question:
“How many dots do you see?”
Most people quickly answer 9 because they only count the obvious dots in the grid. But the question asks how many dots you see in total.
Looking closer, there are additional hidden dots within the text itself. While many people stop at 9, and some find 12, the correct answer is 15 dots altogether.
So, what was your answer before you saw the explanation!!
