A rare few can see the double images in this postcard – can you!!

Optical illusions are fascinating images that challenge the way we see things. One of the most famous examples is the “Young Woman / Old Woman” illusion, created in 1888 by British cartoonist W. E. Hill.

At first glance, the picture may look like a young woman looking away, but if you look closer, you can also see an elderly woman facing downward. The illusion became famous worldwide because many people struggle to spot both images.

Originally printed on postcards in Germany, the artwork gained popularity as people discovered its hidden double image. More than a century later, it remains one of the most iconic optical illusions ever created, continuing to amaze millions around the world.

Can you see both the young woman and the old woman in the image? 👀🖼️!!
