Just weeks after announcing he was cancer-free, legendary singer Barry Manilow revealed a heartbreaking new challenge. The 82-year-old music icon, who underwent surgery to remove part of his left lung, says he is unsure whether his famous singing voice will fully return.
During an interview, Manilow admitted that his first sound check after treatment left him devastated. “I didn’t sound like me at all,” he said, fearing his career might be over. He described the experience as deeply upsetting, especially after relying on his voice for more than five decades.
