After more than 18 years, Natalee Holloway’s family finally learned what happened to her. Joran van der Sloot confessed to killing the 18-year-old after her disappearance in Aruba in 2005.
The confession came during his sentencing for a scheme to extort money from Natalee’s mother. He admitted attacking Holloway and disposing of her body, which has never been found.
Van der Sloot was sentenced to 20 years in the extortion case and is already serving a 28-year sentence in Peru for the murder of another woman. 💔
