Suri Cruise Changes Her Name After Long Estrangement From Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri has officially stepped away from her famous surname.

The 20-year-old is now legally known as Suri Noelle, removing “Cruise” and choosing a name connected to her mother, Katie Holmes.

The change was revealed through Pennsylvania voting records, where she registered under her new legal name while attending Carnegie Mellon University.

Suri had already been using the name publicly, including on her high school graduation program, where she was listed as Suri Noelle.

Sources say the decision was about honoring her mother and creating a life separate from the intense attention that came with the Cruise name.

Now studying musical theater, Suri is focused on building her own path as a performer.

The name change also follows years of reports about a strained relationship with her father after Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes divorced in 2012.

Away from Hollywood’s spotlight, Suri appears to be embracing a new chapter—one defined by her own choices, her own identity, and her own future.
