Canadian authorities have confirmed that missing actor Stewart McLean’s remains were found in Lions Bay, British Columbia, one day after investigators revealed his disappearance was being treated as a possible homicide.
McLean, 45, was last seen at his home on May 15 and reported missing three days later. Police believe the case was an isolated incident, though no suspects or further details have been released.
The actor recently appeared in Virgin River and also had roles in Arrow, Murder in a Small Town, and Happy Face. He also worked as a producer during his career.
Authorities continue investigating and are asking anyone with information to contact IHIT.
