Paul Rosolie shocked the world after attempting to be eaten alive by a giant anaconda to raise awareness about the destruction of the Amazon Rainforest.
The dangerous stunt was filmed for a Discovery Channel documentary called Eaten Alive. Rosolie wore a custom-made protective suit with oxygen and cameras as the snake attacked and wrapped itself around him.
As the anaconda tightened its grip, Rosolie struggled to breathe and eventually called for help before being swallowed whole. His team quickly rescued him, preventing serious injury.
Rosolie later explained that he wanted to do something extreme to draw attention to the destruction of the rainforest and inspire people to care more about conservation.
