Three months after 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her Tucson, Arizona home, police clarified that human remains recently found nearby are not connected to her case.
Authorities confirmed a human bone was discovered about seven miles from Nancy’s residence, but investigators determined it was part of a prehistoric anthropological investigation and not related to any crime.
Nancy was reported missing after an alleged abduction on February 1, and the search for her continues. Her family, including daughter Savannah Guthrie, has described the ordeal as agonizing and continues to seek answers.
Investigators say progress is being made, while child abduction survivor Elizabeth Smart expressed hope that Nancy could still be alive, urging authorities to keep searching until she is found and brought home.!!
