A routine day at Berlin Zoo in 2009 turned into a terrifying ordeal when 32-year-old Mandy K. climbed over a barrier and jumped into the polar bear enclosure during feeding time.
As shocked visitors watched, she swam toward the bears. One bear quickly attacked her, and others soon entered the water. Zoo staff rushed to help, throwing life rings and distracting the bears with food. After a desperate struggle, they managed to pull her to safety.
