Hannah Glass, a 19-year-old college freshman from Wisconsin, tragically died after suffering a severe allergic reaction to a brownie that reportedly contained roasted peanut flour. Hannah, who had a known peanut allergy, took only two bites before realizing something was wrong.
Despite receiving emergency treatment and being rushed to the hospital, she suffered cardiac arrest, seizures, and severe brain damage caused by anaphylaxis. Doctors later determined there was no hope of recovery.
Before her passing on November 10, 2024, Hannah was honored with an emotional “Honor Walk” as she became an organ donor. Her donated organs have already helped save four lives.
Her family now urges people with food allergies to stay vigilant and ensure their EpiPens are always up to date.!!
