Rapper who sued Lyft for refusing ride over weight has new solution!!

Detroit rapper Dank DeMoss (Dajua Blanding) is back in the spotlight more than a year after suing Lyft for alleged weight discrimination, an incident that went viral in 2025 when a driver reportedly refused her ride, claiming she wouldn’t fit in his car. She later filed a lawsuit under Michigan’s civil rights law, which bans weight discrimination, seeking damages for emotional distress and embarrassment. The case was privately settled in 2025.

Now, DeMoss is trending again after videos showed her riding in a spacious luxury chauffeur van, sparking mixed reactions online.

Known as an independent rapper and CEO of FSD Records, she promotes body positivity and has spoken openly about her lifelong struggle with weight and a thyroid condition, as well as her significant weight loss journey.!!
