‘The Godfather Part III’ Star Anthony Guidera Passes Away at 65 Following Health Crisis

Veteran actor Anthony Guidera, known for his roles in The Godfather Part III, Species, The Rock, and Armageddon, has died at the age of 65 following a medical emergency.

According to his wife, Valarie, Guidera suffered a cardiac arrest at their Southern California home on May 11. He was placed on life support for nearly three weeks before passing away on June 6, in accordance with his wishes. Doctors were unable to determine the exact cause of the cardiac arrest.

Guidera began his acting career in 1990 with a role in The Godfather Part III and went on to build a steady career in Hollywood throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. Beyond acting, he was active in the spiritual organization Astara, where he was known as “Reverend Anthony.”

He is survived by his wife, Valarie, and their son, Nick. His performances in several memorable films continue to be part of his lasting Hollywood legacy.
