First Lady Melania Trump and Second Lady Usha Vance made their first joint appearance Wednesday, visiting military families at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.
The pair met with service members, families, and students at Lejeune High School. During her remarks, Melania briefly paused after microphone issues before thanking military families for their service and sharing greetings from President Donald Trump.
Later, during a discussion on artificial intelligence, Melania warned that AI could dramatically reshape future warfare, saying it may have the greatest impact on conflict since the development of nuclear weapons. She emphasized that automation and speed will play a central role in the future of military operations.
