Hollywood Mourns the Loss of Patricia Crowley
The entertainment world is mourning the loss of Patricia Crowley, the talented actress remembered for her unforgettable roles in Dynasty and Please Don’t Eat the Daisies.
Crowley passed away peacefully from natural causes in Los Angeles on September 14, 2025, only two days before celebrating her 92nd birthday. Her son, Jon Hookstratten, shared the heartbreaking news of her passing.
With a career spanning decades, Crowley became a familiar face on television and film, appearing in shows such as Columbo, Hawaii Five-O, Generations, Port Charles, and The Bold and the Beautiful. In 1954, she earned the Golden Globe New Star Award for her early performances in Forever Female and Money From Home.
Her journey began on Broadway before she built a lasting legacy in Hollywood. Though she stepped away from acting in later years, her performances continue to be remembered by fans.
Patricia Crowley leaves behind her husband Andy Friendly, her children Jon and Ann, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A true television and film talent, she will be deeply missed. ❤️
