Elvis Presley co-star actress Yvonne Lime dies

Once a painfully shy child who hid behind her mother, Yvonne Lime Fedderson went on to become a Hollywood actress, appearing alongside stars like Elvis Presley. She passed away peacefully at her home in Paradise Valley, Arizona, on January 23, 2026, at the age of 90.

Born in Glendale, California, Yvonne was enrolled in drama school to overcome her shyness and was working professionally by age 10. She made her film debut in The Rainmaker (1956), earning instant praise, and gained fame the following year in I Was a Teenage Werewolf, which became a surprise box-office hit. She also appeared in Elvis Presley’s Loving You and starred in Dragstrip Riot.

Though her acting career was brief, Yvonne left a lasting impact both on and off screen. In 1959, she co-founded the nonprofit Childhelp, dedicating her life to protecting abused and at-risk children. Her humanitarian work led to five consecutive Nobel Peace Prize nominations.

Yvonne married TV producer Don Fedderson in 1969 and later stepped away from acting, with her final role airing in 1968. She spent her later years focused on family and philanthropy.

From shy child to Hollywood star and devoted humanitarian, Yvonne Lime Fedderson leaves behind a powerful legacy of talent, compassion, and service.
