Patrick Muldoon has died at the age of 57. The actor, best known for Days of Our Lives, Melrose Place, and Starship Troopers, reportedly died suddenly on April 19 from a heart attack, according to his death certificate. Pulmonary embolism and a hereditary blood-clotting condition were also listed as contributing factors.
Muldoon was found unconscious in the bathroom of his Beverly Hills home after his girlfriend became concerned when he was taking longer than usual in the shower. Paramedics attempted to revive him but were unable to save him.
Fans and fellow actors paid tribute online, remembering him as a talented actor and kind person. Before his death, Muldoon had recently shared excitement on Instagram about filming a new project in Australia.
Throughout his career, Muldoon became widely known for his television and film roles during the 1990s and early 2000s, while also pursuing music alongside acting.
