During an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press, President Donald Trump clashed with journalist Kristen Welker over claims about alleged election issues in California.
Trump argued that both the California voting process and the 2020 election were “rigged,” pointing to delays in ballot counting and mail-in voting as evidence. Welker pushed back, saying there was no proof to support those claims and noting that California regularly counts ballots over several days.
As the exchange became more tense, Trump grew increasingly frustrated. He accused Welker of bias, saying, “They’re crooked… you’re either crooked or stupid,” while she defended herself and tried to continue the interview.
The argument escalated until Trump abruptly ended the conversation, telling her he had “had enough” and criticizing the press as dishonest before walking off.!!
