Elijah Blue Allman, 49, the son of Cher and Gregg Allman, was arrested Feb. 27 in Concord, New Hampshire, after an alleged disturbance at St. Paul’s School. Police said he was behaving belligerently and charged him with criminal trespass, criminal threatening, disorderly conduct and two counts of simple assault. He was released on personal recognizance and will appear in court later. Representatives for Cher and police did not immediately comment.
The arrest follows a June incident in Landers, California, where deputies responding to reports of erratic behavior found Allman being evaluated by paramedics and discovered drugs at the home. He was taken to a hospital, and the investigation remained ongoing.
After that incident, his estranged wife, Marieangela King—who filed for divorce in April—publicly supported him, saying he remains committed to sobriety and continues to face personal struggles with strength.
Allman, born July 10, 1976, is the lead singer and guitarist of the industrial rock band Deadsy, known for albums like Commencement (2002) and Phantasmagore (2006). He has spoken openly about past substance use and family tensions and has also pursued visual art while largely staying out of the spotlight.
