Tragic reports have confirmed the death of three young brothers, aged 6, 8, and 9, in a heartbreaking incident that took place in Bonham, Texas, recently.
Sources from local media outlets shared more on the matter, including how the kids died when they fell through the ice on a private pond during the extreme winter weather storm.
The youngest boy slipped through the thin ice, and in a brave and dangerous attempt to save him, his siblings jumped right in. The mother was alerted by her daughter, who reportedly ran towards the pond in desperation.
She jumped into the freezing water in an effort to rescue her sons, but was swiftly overcome by the numbing cold and freezing water temperatures of the icy water.

This incapacitated her before she could reach them. A neighbor did eventually pull her out of the pond, and a high school football coach and first responders had also arrived to assist. Sadly, the boys were pulled out and rushed to a nearby hospital, but ended up dying.
